There is no such thing as a "safe" abortion. In EACH and EVERY instance someone is killed; the baby, the mother, and sometimes both.
There is no such thing as a "safe abortion." In EACH and EVERY instance the baby, the mother, or both die.
The Abortion-Homicide of Cree Erwin-Sheppard
These horrific incidences are often described as a “botched abortions.” That is a misnomer. The abortion-homicide procedure wasn’t “botched” at all. Sadly, it was a success from the abortionist’s perspective. The abortionist succeeded in their goal to end the life of the preborn baby.
In one such “botched” abortion-homicide procedure 24-year old Cree Erwin-Sheppard, a mother of two, was horribly injured and later died. Cree underwent this procedure on June 30, 2016 at the Planned Parenthood abortion-homicide mill in Kalamazoo, Michigan. However, for Cree, the safe abortion was anything but that.
"...something obviously went wrong. Cree began to experience intolerable abdominal pain. On the night of July 2, Tanya took her suffering daughter to the emergency room at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. There, Cree was supposedly given pain medication and told to see her family physician the next day."
Project Rescue goes on to report that
"Tragically, she didn’t live long enough to get to her own doctor."
Cree was discharged from the hospital. Expectedly, she decided to stay at her mother's home. She was still in tremendous pain. At one point Tanya checked on Cree. It appeared to Tanya that Cree was sleeping. In reality, Cree displayed signs of life-threatening distress. Through no fault of her own, Tanya did not recognize these warning signs and decided to let her daughter continue resting. Cree Erwin-Sheppard was dying.
Around midnight of July 4, 2016 Tanya noticed that Cree was largely in the same position as before. Project Rescue reported that
"[Tanya] tried to get Cree to move, but she couldn’t get her to wake up. She began “shaking and yelling at” her daughter, trying to rouse her, but nothing worked. She realized Cree wasn’t breathing and was cold to the touch."
Cree’s mother noticed that her young daughter was
“cold as ice.”
Panicked and distraught, Tanya placed a 911 call. [LISTEN TO THE 911 CALL HERE]. In this call, you hear the grief-stricken anguish of a mother who just discovered the body of her daughter. The recording was redacted (i.e. portions edit out) in order to mask Tanya's statements informing the 911 operator about Cree's recent abortion-homicide procedure. However, what is very clear, as Project Rescue reports is when Tanya, sobbing and heaving, tells the 911 operator
“My daughter is cold…I think she’s dead.”
Sadly, Tanya was correct. Project Rescue reports that when emergency service personnel arrived at the home
"...it only took the medics about 15 seconds to determine that Cree Erwin was deceased."
During a press conference outside the Planned Parenthood abortion-homicide facility where Cree was injured, her brother Tyler Sheppard, commented on is little sister’s death. He asked why his sister’s life
“was not good enough to save.”
He went on to say that Planned Parenthood abortion workers
"...saw baby parts still inside of my sister and they still sent her home . .”
Cree Erwin-Sheppard’s medical report is a litany of horrors. The report indicates that
“...The coroner reported a four-centimeter long full-thickness perforation that ran through the lower back side of her uterus. “
“...the Bronson Emergency Department identified parts of the aborted baby. “
“….the Battle Creek Police referred Cree Erwin-Sheppard’s death investigation information to the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, it was determined that Cree’s death warranted no investigation ...”
“It was unconscionable for Planned Parenthood to kick Cree down the road with an incomplete abortion and a big hole torn in her uterus,”
said Troy Newman, Director of Operation Rescue.
Project Rescue exposes the fact that numerous critical questions in the abortion-homicide of Cree Erwin-Sheppard remain unanswered. Those questions are:
• Where did Cree Erwin obtain her abortion?
• Did she have a surgical abortion or was she given the abortion pill?
• Who was the abortionist responsible for the abortion?
• What was the official cause of death?
• How culpable is the hospital that discharged Erwin, who was just hours from death?
• What was the result of the homicide investigation first reported by a local news station?
Her family did not deserve to lose Cree and her baby. Her family is absolutely entitled to the whole truth regarding the mortal injuries Cree suffered during the abortion-homicide procedure.
Finally, the author Cheryl Sullenger quotes Project Rescue Director Troy Newman who says,
"...the truth is, these tragedies will continue to happen over and over again as long as abortion is allowed. To stop the heartbreak and loss of innocent life, we must stop the barbaric practice of abortion.”
